Daniel Morris is an Austin Racker and Sr. Product Manager who works in the Rackspace product organization focusing on cloud platform services. Daniel is passionate about building great software services and is exicted about the opportunities that OpenStack, RedDwarf,and Open Cloud Computing are bringing to customers. Daniel started his career working in software development, contributing to the testing, design, development, and management of IBM's WebSphere Application Server and affiliated products. Daniel received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Masters in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. When not battling the Texas heat, Daniel enjoys running, traveling, and sneaking away to Colorado to snowboard.
